Wreck at Chauncey Athens Kills Ohio University Freshman
The Chauncey Athens crash on the Chauncey Athens Road killed Theodore Goodson a 20 year old Ohio University freshman from Chauncey and injured Charles A Kircher 22 also a student. Goodson died en route to Sheltering Arms Hospital in Athens and Kircher remained under care with a possible skull fracture but showing signs of recovery. The Ford roadster reportedly sped prior to overturning several times after crossing the railroad tracks.

King undergoes lung drainage operation in London
