Nearly a hundred ministers and laymen join the steering committee in listing committees for the 1957 preaching mission to be held six nights in January 1955 at the Senior High School gym. Additional names will be added as the community project expands with publicity, transportation, music, and youth roles led by church and civic leaders. The plan includes planning by the publicity committee to engage residents of Jackson County and nearby regions in attending the mission.
