Leighton youths rewarded for finding missing mail pouch
In Leighton Alabama three youths Ingram Mitchell 18 first spotted a missing mail pouch containing 44000 in one dollar bills. For their find the Post Office Department awarded $300 to Mitchell and $250 each to William Mitchell 15 and Addie Chamblee 13. The pouch was found December 1 after vanishing from a railway shipment 85 days earlier.
