Fundamentals In Education Are Outlined
Nelsonville educator Superintendent D W Codding outlined three lasting fundamentals for public schools. Habits of work responsibility and religious or philosophical grounding he urged must be taught to students. He warned that postwar adult training will rise and schools must participate or face competition from federal programs. He explained Smith Hughes and George Dean programs and noted local interest in developing a properly equipped vocational trade school.
