Burglars Take $10,000 From Logan Market
Thieves looted Harden and Helber Market at 1266 W Hunter St Sunday night and escaped with about $10,000 in cash and checks. The safe was pried open with a hammer and wrecking bar, using a front office location to stay hidden. Co owner Woodrow Harden reported finding a metal money container, two empty bags and scattered checks and cash, with a locked deposit bag missing from Saturday receipts. Police and an Ohio Bureau of Investigation agent assisted, door checks had occurred during the night, and owners urged customers with post weekend checks to report them for listing.
