Holiday Party For Hobson Circle
The Hobson Study Circle held its annual Christmas party at Mrs. James Householder’s home 273 E State St. Seventeen members answered roll call with a Christmas custom. The club donated ten dollars to charity and collected gifts for Athens State Hospital. Glen Hanes sang with Mrs. James Austin on piano, and Mrs. Hanes played Basil Rathbone’s small recording of Christmas Carol. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Householder, assisted by her daughter Nancy and Mrs. Wilson Norris.
