Sarg's Marionettes Present Adventures of Columbus in Athens
Sarg's Marionettes will perform Adventures of Christopher Columbus at Ewing Auditorium on December 15 with a matinee for schoolchildren titled Spanish Fiesta. Officials of the Athens National Bank and the Bank of Athens say the sale should close in the next two days. Grading of the field and track proceeds rapidly aided by favorable weather.

Poetry Readings Mark First Presbyterian Club Meeting
Dean Irma E Voigt led poetry readings at the Women's parlor of First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday afternoon. Selections included Christ in the Poetry of Today and Christmas Carols with tea served by Leora Ashurst Marion Wiles and Myrtle Gue. The group plans scrapbooks of favorite Christmas poems.
