Warning notices sent to Ohio University students
Scholastic delinquency notices were sent to Ohio University students this week. Despite more delinquencies in raw numbers due to a larger student body, the overall percentage is similar to last year. Men show a slight rise while women decline. 41 percent for men and 26 percent for women in Educational and Arts Colleges. In Liberal Arts, 14 women received notices out of 311 surveyed women. Five hundred seventy eight men were delinquent. Registrar F B Dilley says notices are warnings, not guarantees of failure, and professors may urge greater effort.
