Five Are Bound Over To Grand Jury Today
Five men pleaded not guilty before Magistrate T. R. Bennett and were bound over to the Athens County Grand Jury. Car Hull of Carbondale was released on 200 dollar bond for driving an auto while intoxicated. Others required 100 dollar bonds were William Baker of Canayonville for assault and battery Arthur Copeland of New England for assault in a menacing manner Merrill Chase of Chase for stealing a hay loader and John Shields of Athens R D for trespassing. Shields also jailed for nonpayment of a four year old fine.
