Hospital Unit Especially For Teens
NEW YORK A special adolescent unit the first of its kind in the city has opened at Montefiore Hospital to serve teen patients. The 20 bed area includes a juke box ping pong and its own schoolroom with daily classes by the Board of Education. Dr Laurence Finberg says the unit will aid nursing care and help gather social information about adolescents. The weather forecast calls for partly cloudy or partly sunny skies with clouds covering three tenths to seven tenths of the sky and temperatures rising 5 to 10 degrees in the next 12 hours.
