Two Mishaps Investigated By Patrol
Gallipolis post of the State Highway Patrol reported two traffic accidents Friday. Penny Haner, 23, Gallipolis, turned into a driveway and was struck by Starley Lambert, 25, Jackson, injures reported but not treated. Lambert cited for assured clear distance. Donald Saxon, 17, Addison, crashed on Addison Bulnyville Road as his eastbound car went out of control into a ditch and embankment, then returned across the highway with no injuries. Saxon cited for speed excessive for conditions.

Bike and Truck Collision On Columbus Street
In Selsonville a Tuesday 11 a m collision on Columbus Street at Public Square involved a bicycle ridden by Vaughn Gwilym and a pickup driven by Ellen May Johnson. Johnson says the bike rode into her front end as she traveled west, with the rider sustaining minor injuries after rolling under an eastbound auto. police found no fault or citations.
