2500 Year Old Adena Burial Found Near Guysville

An archeological club led by Ernest Sutton and Tom Glover uncovered a 2500 year old Adena burial on Bruce Chapman farm near Guysville. Dr. Raymond S Baby of Ohio State Museum supervised a team to examine the mound containing a female cremation and a male skull and arm.

Five Youths Questioned About Beer

Five New Marshfield youths aged 17 to 20 were questioned by police after being found with high powered beer in a car near the Post Office. Driver Dale Hunter, 19, was cited for an illegal muffler as officers investigated who sold the beer to the underage group.
