Midlandport announces Friday registration for the new school year with staggered hours for seniors juniors sophomores and freshmen. New students and those wishing to change schedules should register at the high school while teachers meet on Monday September 3 and the school opens Tuesday September 4.

Leaves hospital PomeROY shram J Black, a widely known Pomeroy resident, returned to his home Monday evening after six days at St. Joseph Hospital in Parkersburg West Virginia for observation and treatment. He was accompanied by Mr and Mrs Henry Wippel who share his home. He is reported to be improving satisfactorily.
