Mr and Mrs George H Perry and daughter Georganne hosted relatives including son in law Ernest Kittel and family from Alliance and Marengo for a noon birthday meal for Mark Kittel who turns two. Also present were Kimmey, Allen, Robinson families and Rev M L Kimmey. Frank Hooper and son David visited from Pittsburgh. Harold Baedecker and son Philip enjoyed a Lexington weekend visit as Philip prepares to enroll at the University of Kentucky.
Alfred Grange met to elect officers. Mrs. Harold Greiner led a literary program on The Animal Kingdom. The group postponed the next meeting to August 24 due to the Meigs County Fair. Alfred Grange inspection set for September 7.
