About 75 members attended the Gallipolis American Legion Post observance of the first anniversary of the end of World War I on a Wednesday evening. A vote approved City Government use of one room in Legion headquarters for the street work agency, with a Memorial Day dedication condition. A second story room in City Hall remains allocated to the Legion if not located by then. Also noted two births at Holzer Hospital in Gallipolis, a daughter to Mr and Mrs Woodrow Saunders Route 2 and a daughter to Mr and Mrs Harry Bailey Pome Costa Rica.
