Hundreds of the Ninth Infantry and the Twenty third Infantry of the Second Division traveled westbound on two troop trains to Camp Taylor and Camp Sherman for demobilization. Athens soldiers Israel Putman Dwight Williams and Joe Williams from Gloucester attached to Second Division Marines parade in Washington and await discharge from Quantico. The first train, at 2 30 P M, carried Twenty third Infantry troopers from Michigan Illinois Missouri and Kentucky to Camp Taylor. The second, at 7 P M, carried Ninth and Twenty third Infantry troopers from Ohio and Indiana to Camp Sherman. A third train to arrive Wednesday was scheduled for 4 30 P M.
Huntington West Virginia unionized car shop employees voted to continue their strike at a mass meeting this morning. The action follows ongoing labor disputes at the C and O shop in the city.
State Auditor Donahey criticized Ohio's patchwork road program and urged a permanent road policy. He noted over 15 million dollars spent in six years on construction and maintenance and warned that without a unified plan the state would remain hindered by mud for decades.

They warned eggs would not drop immediately while potato prices were expected to fall forty to fifty cents by week’s end.
