Horse Hair Clues Lead to Burglary Pair in Ohio
Three men were jailed after a grocery store burglary on Route 691 near New Marshfield. A horse hair found in mud on the door sill, plus further hairs on the Sharp farm, helped Deputy Harold Shields connect Frank Sharp Nelsonville Route 1, 18, with the crime and led to the detention of Richard Sharp 20 and Ernest Evans 59. Evenso, Sharp admitted acting as lookout and investigators recovered much of the loot and cigarettes sold in New Straitsville. The trio await charges, with Evans and Richard Sharp likely charged with breaking and entering, Sharp with being an accessory.
