Gallipolis residents seek large boating pool in Chickamauga Creek
Residents plan a movement to create a 20 acre boating pool in Chickamauga Creek adjoining the Gallipolis municipal pool on high school property. The project would require removal of dead trees, a boat landing pier, and possible federal help for dam area modification. Fish abound and lighting would use existing floodlights at the pool.
