Faculty To Accept Student Roomers as OU Housing Shortage Looms
Ohio University faces an acute housing shortage for the fall term with 500 beds needed beyond dormitories. The faculty debated using FPHA dormitories and temporary housing, while plans to house veterans and married couples expand across campus and nearby towns. President Baker and Gov Lausche push for federal relief and temporary facilities, including potential use of Camp Perry and state armory, to accommodate enrollees.
