Local Girls Vie For Fair Queen In Athens County
Twelve entrants competed for junior fair queen with a July 16 tea. The winner will represent Athens County at the Ohio State Fair, chosen in a public ceremony at 7 30 p m in front of the grandstand. Judging was by Dr J K Bratton Mrs Jessie Ley and Clara Burns. Candidates age 16 to 18 with two years in 4 H FFA FHA Girl Scouts or Art Council.
