Vehicles Sales Lag Behind Last Year in Gallia County
In Gallia County July new vehicle sales lagged behind 1957 and 1958 totals. Only 41 new passenger cars were sold, July’s figure is the lowest of 1958, and seven month totals stand at 302 compared with 529 a year earlier. Eleven new trucks were sold in July, yearly trucks total 67 versus 83 last year. Used car sales reached 170 in July for a year total of 1057, while used trucks total 140 for seven months, nearing 1957 levels.
