Logan Lyndon Showalter, 83, died. He came to Logan nearly 49 years ago and worked in ice sales, later retiring about four years ago. He was a member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church, Club and Kiam Sh ter. Friends may call at Leonard Funeral Home until 8 p.m. Tuesday, with services Tuesday at St. Pauls Church conducted by Sidney Weddington.
F Ripple, 79, widow of George Ripple, died at 7 a m Sunday at Hocking Valley Hospital after a long illness. A native of Logan, she was the daughter of Peter Blosser Huston. Survived by Lucy Hunsaker and Iavarick of Logan Route.
Mrs. Wednesday Lancaster sponsors a junior championship at the Invitational Tourney. Miss in the cham and Mrs. William lead the first low flight. Club sponsors a workshop at Logan School from 10 a.m. until noon. Mrs. James Titus of the Onions Garden Clubs will attend.
