The FBI arrested five Communist leaders in New York Baltimore and Cleveland with a sixth attorney figure held in Baltimore. Miss Jeanne Bourguignon 22 of Bay Village was found dead in the west side apartment of John Patton in Cleveland. Police say she and Patton had been drinking for five days and that she fell Monday night. Foam on her lips prompted a doctor’s call. minor bruises noted, no violent death indicated.
Washington notes say senators plan a testimonial dinner tomorrow night for Senate floor leader Senator Wherry of Nebraska. Senator Taft of Ohio, chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, praised Wherry for his hard work in the minority and his keep on policy toes.
