The Labor Department reports July wholesale prices up 1.2 percent, largest since April and signaling renewed inflation. Food and farm products drive the jump, with prices for fuels and industrial commodities also higher. The annual wholesale increase hits 14.4 percent, while consumer prices rise 9.6 percent year over year.
In Lisbon moderates warn that rapid radicalization could trigger civil war after weeks of anti Communist actions.
