Speedy Flow Of Money Seen As Dangerous
Ohio University economist E T Hellebrandt told the Athens Lions Club that restrained buying could reduce rapid money circulation and lessen the danger of inflation. He said inflation is about rising prices, not total money in circulation, noting deficit financing since 1930 fed into banks and contributed to mild inflation. He criticized OPA, saying it raises prices and did not keep them down.
