City Budget of $714 424 Approved for Submission to Auditor
The city council approved a 1958 budget of 714 424 for presentation to the county auditor. The plan raises about 7 000 over the current year with funds split among general, recreation, street, water, sewer, garbage and off street parking. Citizens from Mechanicsburg area sought water relief, hearings on a city hall remodeling bond were set for November, and ordinances on bad checks and house numbering were adopted.
