White's Mill Auto Accident Injures Three
An automobile carrying four persons struck the west end of the White's Mill bridge near Belle Center Ohio shortly after noon. Three occupants were hospitalized at Shelterin Arms Hospital with injuries not disclosed. The group includes Mrs Ruth Fry 44 her husband 46 and son Paul Fry 22. Phillip Fry 17 sustained a facial laceration but was not hospitalized. The car slid into a guard rail and bridge then into Routes 56 and 682 intersection. German kills Ohio Soldier in Schweinfurt stabbing
The U S Army announced Cpl. Ferdinan S Schwartz of Mansfield Ohio was fatally stabbed at Schweinfurt last Friday by a drunken German. He was stabbed in the chest abdomen back arms and legs. Police shot the attacker near the restaurant. Schwartz is survived by his father Ferdinand L Schwartz. The Army said he is expected to recover and will stand trial.
