Baseball Scoring Rules and Clarifications

The official scorer decides if a play is an error when the second baseman could have put out the batter. A sacrifice fly can score a run if a runner scores on a fly ball even with a fielder’s play. A run counts if a forced runner is not tagged and reaches home before the out is recorded.
