Speech Aids to Tots Stressed in Meigs County
Mrs Nell Davy area field secretary for the Ohio Society for Crippled Children spoke at an opening meeting of the Meigs County Crippled Children's Society. She noted speech clinics are being set up and funded by Easter seal sales with public support needed for continuation. Miss Willie V Harris and four pupils demonstrated clinic work for about 75 parents and teachers, stressing early diagnosis and treatment. The current clinic closes Aug 3 and thanks were given to schools and local officials for their help. Volunteers assisted with clinic registration.
