Survived by husband Augustus a son Delbert and four brothers. funeral by Jagers at Alexander Presbyterian Church Saturday at 10 with burial at Hebbardsville Cemetery.

Leonard Fuller, 48, was arrested after a pursuit ended near Shady Side four miles south of Bellaire. Police say Fuller opened fire on the Jablonski car believing another man was pursuing his wife. Murder charges will be filed in St. Clairsville.

A missing slot machine operator named Frank T. Joiner, missing since January 3, was found dead near an abandoned bungalow. Police identified him by dental records. authorities say the investigation is advancing.
At Upper Pomeroy the packet Liberty coal struck laborer Doc Cooper on the head as the ship coaled at the French Station. He was taken to the Marine Hospital in Gallipolis for treatment of injuries.
Philadelphia's Ridge Avenue Market district was quiet after a night of race violence. About 4,000 Black demonstrators clashed with police, 70 arrests reported, stores looted, windows shattered, and a sergeant injured, as rioters used bottles and missiles in the northwestern city area.

Three Wadeworth men Charles Sonnans tine 20 David O Bierns Jr 22 and Austin Cheney 24 were killed when their car collided head on with a truck near Wadsworth early today. Ollie Shettier 22 is in Wadsworth Hospital with injuries. They were returning from Chippewa Lake and attempted to pass a truck on a hill avoiding an oncoming vehicle.
Middletown Aug 2 A Middletown surgeon Dr E O Bauer promises no prosecution if a thief returns a tube of radium valued at 3500. The owner is Dr Mable Gardner of Middletown who also offers a sizable reward. A second tube valued at 5000 in Bauer’s car was not taken.
The National Balloon Race began in Birmingham Alabama Tuesday night with Army’s Number 1 entry reported down at Monticello Georgia. Navy’s entry was unreported as of today.

In Goshocton on August 2, testimony tied the lapse of an insurance policy to the case in the murder trial of Mrs. Amelia Webb Wardrop. Charles Hollis, former local agent, said days before the death of Mrs. Wardrop’s daughter Iona Webb Senter, the mother tried to renew two policies on the daughter.
