Hocking College to pay staff during winter and spring breaks
Hocking College will compensate non instructional and non bargaining unit employees during winter and spring breaks after a special board meeting. The college previously furloughed these days due to a budget deficit in 2014 15 with essential services maintained. Union leader Mark Yanko supported the measure as cost saving but urged further consideration of spring break shutdowns.
