Middleport Business and Pro Miss Jennifer Blakeslee registered for a parade float as part of Meigs County Fair centennial events. The Aug 13 parade will judge organizational floats and individual entries, with prizes and rosettes for top winners.

Perry County court records include a $1000 settlement for a Somerset boy injured on W Main St by a car driven by W John Horst, approved by Probate Judge Jenkins.
