Athens Sewer Disposal Plant Among Best in Area

Athens sanitary sewer disposal plant has operated for a little over a year and earned a strong reputation with officials. The two basement levels house the pumps and the main floor offers a view into the engine room. Grounds are kept like a public park with flowers, golf‑course height grass, paved driveways, and sidewalks to all sections. Visitors are welcome and the registration books show many local and out‑of‑town guests touring the plant. (Photographs by Moore)
