Mrs. Bessie Rhorick age 55 of New Marshfield died this morning at Sheltering Arms Hospital after a two week illness. Officials from three counties search for John A Lightfoot 37 of Nelsonville after his abandoned car is found at Little Hocking. A death by own action note is in the car. Lightfoot a Prudential Life Insurance agent, has been missing since Friday. Authorities deny reports the body is in the Ohio River and plan to search the river at Little Hocking.

103 Indicted In Tax Fraud In New York

A federal grand jury indicted 103 individuals on charges of conspiracy to defraud the government of alcohol taxes. The group includes six New York police officers and 90 Treasury Department agents, with 86 in custody as arraignments were set for the day.
