Dana T Duncan seven year old son of Mr and Mrs James Duncan drowned while swimming with companions in the Hocking river near Harmony three miles east of Athens. He cramps and sinks, his body found later with arm around a piece of drift wood. Clothes missing, funeral held at the family home and burial in the new cemetery.

She leaves two sons, Dr C S McDougall of Athens and Dr John McDougall of New Lexington.

Badger Killed Near Sunday Creek Confluence
A European badger was killed by Charles Hoons along Sunday Creek near its confluence with the Hocking River. The animal, about two and a half feet long, resembled a skonk and is described as a quadruped between bear and otter families. It will be mounted by two taxidermists.

Woman Sentenced in Cruelty Case In City Court
