Julie Garner of Nelsonville Farmers Market, Athens City Planner Paul Logue, Athens City Schools nurse Heidi Mowrey, COAD, and Tom Kostohryz of Live Healthy Appalachia received awards for community health impact and program leadership.

Albany man’s sentence stands after appeal ruling
Jamie Dailey, 44, remains imprisoned after an appeal failed to overturn the revocation of his community control. The 4th District Court of Appeals found no merit in delaying termination, but reversed the consecutive three year term to require proper judgment entry language. Dailey is housed at Chilhoothe Correctional Institution with a July 28, 2018 release date.
