Three Car Crash Probed In Pomeroy
POMEROY police investigated a three car accident Saturday at 7 p.m. on Court and Main Streets. William Qualls 22 of Gallipolis and Charles Jeffers 20 of Pomeroy were stopped for a car pulling out when Marvin Craig 36 of Pomeroy failed to stop and struck Jeffers, causing Jeffers to hit Qualls. Medium damage to all vehicles. Craig cited for assured clear distance. A second brief notes two residents, William Chadwick 19 of Columbus and Anita Hall 20 of Pomeroy, listed among others in a separate item. CHARGED POMEROY Harold Evans Long Botton arrested for driving while intoxicated. He will appear in court tonight. POMEROY Suit for partition of real estate filed by Eleanor Nelson Langsville against John S. Miller and others.

Traffic Death Plea Innocent
Roy Lee Buchanan of Reedsville entered an innocent plea Monday at Meigs Common Pleas Court after being arraigned on a homicide by automobile charge. The indictment followed the March 7 Route 7 accident that killed 26 year old David L. Burns of Marietta, who died about a week later.
