Cannot Change Primary Party ruling limits voter affiliation
An Athens County election official notes a recent attorney general ruling that electors cannot switch party affiliation at the May 1932 primary and must keep the party determined by the last general election. The rule hinges on 1930 and 1931 voting patterns, with new voters unaffected and past seven year activity used for designation.
