School Employes Honor 10th Anniversary in Meigs County
POMEROY Ohio Charter members and honorees gathered for the 10th annual meeting of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees Meigs County Chapter. Ross Cleland presented plaques to 10year members including Ed Bush and Agnes Price. Honorary members receiving plaques included Steve Lewis O A P S E guest speaker and Meigs County Supt O O Patterson. A Salisbury School musical program and Salisbury PTA dinner followed. about 60 attended.

Mother Files For Divorce in Meigs County Court
Sarah Jane Lunsford of Pomeroy files for divorce from Charles E. Lunsford of Columbus in Meigs County Common Pleas Court citing gross neglect and extreme cruelty and seeking custody of one minor child. In related action Jack Ellsworth Phillips was found guilty of contempt, ordered jailed, fined $200, and required to pay child support raised to $30 weekly until back pay of $1,060 is settled.

In Syracuse the volunteer firemen’s room hosted a layette shower for Mrs John Slack of Milwaukee. Guests included Mr and Mrs Slack and numerous friends from Syracuse Caledonia Rutland and Milwaukee.
