A sewing demonstration and lecture will be held Monday at 7 30 p m in the Athens County Junior Fair Blog. Miss Katherin Smythe of McCall's Pattern Corp will show 10 to 15 costumes and discuss construction details for various effects. The two hour program aims to teach new sewing techniques to all ages and skill levels.
The Christian Women's Fellowship hosts a full day workshop at First Christian Church Athens with South East Ohio district churches attending. Luncheon served for about 80 guests as 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. sessions proceed led by district secretary Mrs Carey Witham and others.
