Council Takes No Action On Veto Of Waterworks
Logan council met Tuesday night and did not override Mayor Kenneth R. Fitzgerald's veto on the Waterworks project. Councilman L. K. Showalter urged the record show he supported the project from the start and believed a majority favored it. Mayor Fitzgerald said he acted conscientiously and hoped for cooperation on other matters. The panel approved funds for street signs and standards despite opposition from Larimer and Showalter. A minor reallocation funded waterworks repairs and street cleaning supplies.
