Jury adds 50 names to the wheel for Burchette case
Logan and Laurelville officials report May 6 to select 50 more jurors for the county wheel. The step supports a June special panel for the first degree murder trial of Albert Burchette, who is accused in the February 17 slaying of Earl Behrens. Prospective Burdette jurors must be summoned 15 days before opening. Additional 60 names will stock the wheel until the new commission forms next month.
