War veteran Townsend dies at ripe age in Downington

He served in Co C 30th O V I and survived to see only two members remain Captain J B Allen Athens and Zenas A Hull now in the Soldiers Home at Sandusky. Two Boys Injured as Tractor Tumbles with Household Wagon
Earl Petty aged 19 and Eugene Petty aged 16 were trapped when a tractor to which a wagon loaded with household goods overturned on the Harrisonville pike near the infirmary.
