Razing of Historic Athens Property for New Church Begun
Under the direction of Mr. A. E. Mason workmen started Tuesday to raze the historic property bought from Ellsworth Day last spring for 12 000 preparing for the church foundation. The home changed hands through several owners dating back to 1853 and was once a leading local residence before its value is now seen as the lot.
