Athens High Students Experience City Government Week
Sixteen Athens High School seniors elected to mock city roles toured City Hall and met officials. The group enacting council business learned about city operations while others observed offices such as service safety, fire, police, and the municipal court. Participants praised the hands on experience and cooperative staff.
