McAfee to Be Installed as Logan DeMolay Master Councillor
John O. McAfee will be installed as master councillor of Logan Chapter Order of DeMolay at a Saturday 7:30 p.m. meeting in the Logan Masonic Temple. John F. Benning will be installing officer, aided by past master councillors and DeMolay leaders from Logan and Athens. A long list of officers from the Logan chapter will be installed, with refreshments served afterward by the DeMolay Mothers Club. all Masons and families are invited.

The thirteenth annual Women's Society of World Service convention of the Ohio Southeast branch Evangelical United Brethren Church will meet at the First EUB Church in Logan on April 29 and 30. The theme is Jesus Christ Renews His Church through Lay Participation and Vocational Dedication with guest speaker Mrs. D S Gilliland of the Nigerian mission. Delegates from southeastern Ohio will attend. services run 9:30 a m to 3:30 p m with a public Wednesday evening program featuring mission photos from Nigeria.

Logan William F and Rose Hahn of Rockbridge Route 2 received 11000 from a Hocking County jury in the State Highway Dept appropriation dispute.
