Athens County Driver Killed Near Carbondale

Nelsonville Charles Howard Jolley twenty one son of the Rev and Mrs Clifford Jolley near Carbondale was killed instantly when his 1951 sedan struck a concrete abutment on the Carbondale road near the Kimberly mine. Jolley was alone and headed toward Carbondale when the crash occurred. State Highway Patrol estimated the wreck happened about a half hour earlier.
