Disqualification Seen For Mason Board Member
Caldwell may have disqualified himself as a sheriff candidate under state school law Section 1a Article 5. The rule bars board members who hold another public office or are teachers from seeking non‑succeeding terms. Superintendent Ferguson said he had no knowledge of Caldwell resigning before filing for sheriff. Tonight’s meeting substitutes for April’s due to postponements and flood delays.
