Salvation Army Creates Girl Guards Club for Healthy Activities
Mrs. Richard Benton leads Athens Salvation Army Girl Guards to keep young girls busy and healthy. The group offers hikes, camp fires, swimming, and gymnastics to curb monotony and steer girls away from risky trends. About 20 members anticipate a 10 day Glendale Camp this summer and their uniforms this week.
