Bonnie and Clyde Continues Winning Film Run Worldwide
Hollywood AP veteran Bob Thomas notes Bonnie and Clyde remains a triumph with Academy voters. Faye Dunaway says the cast knew they were onto something special as the film influences fashion, music, crime trends, and even bank robberies. The Bonnie Look drives maxi skirts and berets while men adopt Clyde fedoras and wide lapels. The film boosts records and soundtracks, aided by Georgie Fame and others, amid international versions and parodies.
